Front
All our Front Doors are Combination Doors. A Combination Door comes pre-hung with a core door and attached. Unless otherwise stated, all combination doors are pre-hung on a 4.0-inch jamb and prepped for a deadbolt.
The best way to accurately measure for a door replacement is to measure the rough opening. A rough opening refers to the framed opening in the wall that your door will be installed in. We recommend that you measure all sides of the rough opening to ensure the correct fitment of your replacement door.
To determine if your current door is left hand or right hand, we must first be facing the side of the door that has the keyhole. Then you must identify the location of the hinges. If the hinges are on the left, you have a left-handed door. If the hinges are on the right, you have a right-handed door.
These tips apply to front doors, rear doors, combo doors, and storm doors. If you have any questions, your local Blevins Branch would be happy to assist you.
